I did an update on my Samsung Galaxy S2 and since then I can't connect it to the car bluetooth. It shows up as paired but then I keep getting a message (same as text messge) non stop as if its trying to connect.

It is not a car problem and I have debonded to make sure there is space on the car for the phone. Before I updated the phone it worked grand.

Anyone any ideas? or have the same problem?

What car kit is it. If it's a parrot you could try a firmware update on it or delete the previous paring and set up a new one. If it's a nokia cut the power to the battery to reset the kit.

The car is a Ford Focus and the phone works though the car radio.

I tried deleting the pairing and no joy. When I turn on the bluetooth, it keeps making a text message sound almost non stop.
