    Why should I get this. I'm thinking on spending the bob Dylans on it. Main reason is I don't want to fork out a fortune for maps down the line.

    Don't buy this or the maps dude,both are worth ****e.

    Map's are easily the worst in the CoD games.

    Always hated the new maps when they came out. Such a waste of money , besides everyone always votes for the old ones when playing a match

    Regardless of whether other people like the maps or not, if you reckon you will be buying the map packs, then it will work out slightly cheaper to fork out for elite now, not by much. By getting Elite, of course you will get the maps and other bits of DLC much sooner, plus free prestige tokens and some double XP thrown in.

    If you don't think you will be buying map packs, then don't bother with Elite.

    So I took the plunge and got it. Like the piazza map but that other one is a load of pants. Bored of the original maps so enjoying the variety. Roll on next dlc.

    I joined the COD Elite page but I only play MW3 online so not interested in getting the extra missions / special ops etc...so if I was to only buy the map packs as they become availible to joe public would this work out cheaper then paying for the Elite Premium now?

    I got 4000 pts for 32£ ish on a website. Which is what it cost for elite.The map packs will prob be the usual 1200pts for 3 or 4. I hated waiting around for the maps. Ps3 still don't have them or do they? I get loads of gaming time so it's money we'll spent
