Ok here's a question from somebody who knows nothing about the game but has a 13 year old son that wants me to pay 19.90 euro to download. I don't use Paypal any more since I was almost stung for 600 euro. But is paying by card the only other option? If so, how secure is it? I'm very hesitant about giving card details.

I can see why you're a little worried. I had that happen to me with an online purchase and was very wary to buy anything online. But ya can't let one bad experience get to ya, especially in this age of Net shopping.

I got Minecraft using Visa and had no problems with the purchase. I would also advise downloading the desktop launcher (which is free). And yes, it's only available by download.

Buy it for him, he'll LOVE IT :D

Also, there is no issues with paying by card at all. Minecraft.net is very trusted

Minecraft is a fantastic game, really relaxing and the multi player is interesting to say the least.

If your worried about giving card details away then buy an o2 money card, they work like a regular visa card, but need to be topped up in store. its safe because worse case scenario they can only take was loaded on the card.

Minecraft is safe as virtual houses. You can pay using visa and he'd love it :D
