    Hi,

Can anyone recommend good installer Limerick area, want to get rid of UPC so I need to get aerial installed for Saorview & want to get a combi box so I can have freesat & saorview on the one box in sitting room, have old sky dish already so will this do for freesat. The prob I have is I want to get the freesat in kitchen & 2 bedrooms also but the builder made a mess of installing tv sockets & although sockets are on the walls the cables dont seem to be connecting to anything , will it be hard to get tv points installed from scratch to the other rooms & once installed will I need a box for each room.

You can get a good Installer from the ISAA, Recognised by Saorview

You can get a Combi box like this
    http://www.satellite.ie/acatalog/HD_Ariva_120_Combo_Box.html#aFerguson120Combo

Yes an old Sky dish should be fine for Freesat (If it is very old you may need to replace it maybe 7-10years, but it could still work fine hopefully)

You may also need a new Quad LNB for running extra Freesat connections, if you do not already have one.

With the TV sockets in the kitchen and bedrooms, did the builder run cables from these sockets and leave the other ends of the cables lying loose in the attic ?

If so you may be able to connect to the cables for satellite and Terrestrial signal, thats if the cable is good quality and will carry satellite signal.
A good Installer should be able to do the best job possible for you in relation to Tv Points, or advise you on what is your best option

"A great piece of equipment for sending a Saorview or freesat signal around your house, and having full control over changing channels."
