I'm looking to find a good book(as up to date with new CPGs as possible, if its exists) to study for the EFR exam. Anyone any recommendations?

This is the course text book used by a lot of organisations.

It costs a lot less than this indicates, you'll need to Google for local suppliers (I don't want to be accused of shilling).

It has 2011 CPR guidelines, but it isn't Irish, so you need to read it along with a copy of CPGs-

Incidentally, and a bit off topic - I think the rules regarding "shilling" need to be looked at on this forum - it's virtually impossible to make fair reference to training providers or products - even when it's patently obvious a poster has no links to the product in question. It might have been helpful to the OP if I had been able to post a couple of links to suppliers of this book.

IMO any copy of either the book above Emergency Medical Responder, or it's older sister book First Responder, coupled with your CPGs and notes from your lectures should be plenty!
