If you wanted to advertise a position or register with a site that would allow to browse through the largest amount of CV's that are on the Internet, does anyone know what is the best site and how they operate?

Jobs.ie probably the best site that i use. All the jobs i see seem to end up on that.

No site is going to give you access to free CVs; that's what the sites make money on (beyond minor things such as data privacy laws). I'd guess jobs.ie or monster are your best bets.

If you were to pay, does anyone know the site with access to the most CV's, also the site with the best value? I'd appreciate a reply from anyone who has ever had any experience of them?

I doubt that kind of information is available. Best value is very subjective.

Have you actually tried contacting them? I am sure they would give you a quote.

In my opinion Monster.ie is by some distance the most comprehensive CV database in this market. It ain't cheap however.

www.enigmasearch.com could help with finding CVs that have been published online by the candidates themselves. It just does the googling for you.

    www.linkedin.com :p

Other than that it really depends what type of people you're looking for. Monster is great for customer service staff, and has a lot of entry-mid level people. Higher level or more specific skillsets tend to be on more specific sites.

Do you really have access to CV's? Did anyone ever have an experience with BestJobs.ie?

OP different jobs boards can be good for one sector but not so good at others. Access is expensive but if you are going for annual packages then there is wiggle room on price.

For free I would say Linkedin- over 120 million profiles on it now, they may not be 'CVs' per se but profiles often give you a good idea of where someone has worked, their function and tasks. Of course that doesn't mean they're actively seeking work but you won't find that out unless you reach out and ask them.
