nct question!

    Selling my passat to my dad to use as a taxi, it has to go through the nct and the taxi suitability test, the boot mechinism isnt working automatically, you have to use the key to open the boot, could it fail the nct because of this?

    cheers, says check if the boot catch is defective.. but is it defective if its still locking and opening with the key?

    I would assume no.

    It still locks and opens abeit with a key.

    I'm generally wrong though :)
