New York for Paddy's Day

    I havn't been on a holiday since 2010 so decided to book NYC for Paddy's Day! I'm going on my own(no one else could get the money/time off work). Going alone doesn't really bother me, I'd say after a couple of beers I'll get chatting to people.

    I'm staying in the New York Loft Hostel in Brooklyn.

    Is anyone else going for Paddy's Day or have you been before? I'd love to hear some experiences and recommendations on places to go/see etc.

    I am very excited, never been to the States.
