    hey was just on the revenue site there,claiming back my tax relief for health expenses in 2011 and also my bin charges for 2010/2011. it only gave me the option of claiming relief from 2010(for bin charges) , not for 2011 aswell.so i take it that its no longer available to claim for 2011? was bit confused. also when i went to claim tax back on rent relief for 2010/2011 it said i was ineligable for it. says you have to be paying rent on or before 7/12/10. i have been renting since 23/9/10! has this tax relief also been done away with? any help would be great.

    As the rent tax credit is being phased out, the online claim facility appears closed to first time claimants. You will have to fill in a rent 1 form to claim it.

    cool thanks for that. might give that a go. as regards the service charges,was so looking forward to getting something back for that. had all my bills tallied up and that :( oh well...!
