    Hey,
Im looking to get my bass set up. It hasn't been set up since I bought it over a year ago so its long overdue. Does anybody have any reccomendations on where to get it done and how much it would roughly cost?
I'm living around the city centre so somewhere close to there would be great :)

    Thanks,
    Mark :)

If you're up for doing the job yourself (well worth learning how to do it), this guide is great

I setup a bass during the week, following that guide, and it's playing great after it.

The default answer here is always "Do it yourself". The fact is that not everyone wants to have a go themselves, and they just want to know where they can go to get it done.

Answer: About €30-€60 depending on what needs to be done. Guitar Fix on Exchequer St. Guitar Workshop on south circular rd. Guitar Repair Centre on Abbey St. Any of the stores in town should have someone in house that can do a setup too

Guitar Repair Center on abbey street, best place in the city. I wouldnt let anyone else near my guitars!

I would try to do it myself but Iv only got one bass and if anything goes wrong i'd be left bassless for a college audition coming up.
Maybe when I upgrade to a new bass I could learn how to do it :)

So would Guitar Repair Center be the best place to drop it into?
