    Hi everyone,
I just thought of an idea where I could help people on Boards with problems they face with their PC. The service I could provide is that I could do a remote control session to your desktop depending on how severe the problem is etc. I'm good with virus removal so if you have any PC's riddled with viruses I could have a go with removing them. If you're unsure about the remote viewing thing you can simply end it by pressing a button so there's no issues there. I'm basically trying to get some experience in IT from home which works both ways as it also helps you with your problem. However, I obviously won't be able to solve every problem you throw at me but someone else could help if needs be.

Feel free to leave a post below and I'll see what I can do (I'll also PM you).

    Regards,
    James.

P.S. Mods are free to lock this if it violates T&C, I'm not sure if it complies with privacy rules(remote viewing etc).

Ya, I was thinking about that too. Look, it's up to however wants help with their PC (or now in this case viruses) if they want to trust me. I've swapped PS3 games with other users using boards so you can look through my posts for proof of that and ask the user to clarify anything.

ActorSeeksJob who seems to have taken a back seat never needed this to solve any issues. While your offer is admirable, it's an uncomfortable suggestion to let users allow you access (especially in light of the indian scammer calls). There's also the matter of when things are tackled on list, some can peer review and others can learn.

Kind offer but a really bad idea.

Another problem youll likely run into is the virus blocking the team viewer/logmein etc client from opening you may wish to use. Viruses these days can be a pita and some need you to use a rescue disk like Kaspersky before you can even attempt Mbam, Super AS, etc.
