That's a tidy looking tikka. I'd say she's very light to carry.

Which do you find yourself using more Gixer? The .243 or the .270?

Cant bring myself to leave the .270 at home. Have amazing confidence in it.. Its been half way round the world this season and had savage hardship between quads, planes and falls and has not lost zero once since I built it. Now I know thats down to a combination of scope and mounts but as a package I cant fault it. Hope to do lots with the .243 over the summer and will use it on deer next year.....maybe :)

is it expensive to get a rifle redone

Depends how far you want to go. To get a rifle re-barreled your looking at €800+. A decent stock will start off around €450. If I was advising anyone who wanted a very accurate set up for reasonable money I'd say buy a tikka t3, get a new stock and get it bedded. New trigger spring, 5 shot mag and never look back!
