    Is this part of decrapifier as I just noticed it's appeared at the bottom of my prog list as if recently installed.

    Its a windows shell console on Vista. I'd keep it, its handy for getting rid of virus's. They never think of blocking access to it.

    this is veird as I don't have vista but xp and this afaik only appeared in my prog list last night after running decrapifier.

    Was looking in prog list to find decrapifier but this yoke seemed to have appeared instead and their is no uninstall option on it.

    Is it related to decrapifier in any way.

    Something must have installed it, I wouldn't worry about it. I also wouldn't bother with decrapifier, its mainly snake oil.

    tnks cuddlesworth, think I've discovered what caused it to install.

    Last night had to run a bit of software in order to convert ms works to word doc. and apparently this may not work if I remove Shell now.
