    Hi all,

Last month my laguna died (shock horror!) and I was really in need for a car. My ex husband looked online and went out and bought the above car. Theres no service history and the body work isnt the best. Its obviously been rear ended previously and had a second had bumber put back in its place. He did no checks on it other than drive it. The thing is it has now developed a knocking noise when i turn right at low speeds. It happens intermittently. I was worried when i heard it at first (still am) so I said it to the ex and he took it to a mechanic who said it was just a bit of wear and tear and not to worry. I have three kids who travel every day in this car with me. Any thoughts would be appreciated

    Cv joint maybe?
Bring it to a different mechanic if you want the answer.

    toHey Tyview,

I think it could possibly be your CV (constant velocity). Its the part that connects your suspension to your axle and allows movement say when you go over bumps or hit a pothole .

Anywho you should get it checked out , most mechanics will know easy enough and I think (i could be wrong here) you are looking at 120-150 to get it fixed. I ll ring someone in a min and check it out for sure
