draining aircon gas?

    hey.. long time reader first time poster

    im going to remove the aircon pump from a freinds car, now i know ur supposed to get the a/c gas extracted properly in a garage but is there any way ya can do it urself safely at home ?

    any help appreciated !

    as far as i know its illegal to release cfc gasses straight into the atmosphere.

    if you can live with the legality and your unsure what your doing, i believe that it can give you a very nasty burn if you come into contact with it.

    but lads do do it, just run like **** i suppose :pac:

    I can live with the legality of it , just don't want a burn or ta breath the stuff in ha could be the best option but I heard ya have ta leave it drain for an hour ?

    Out of curiosity, why do you type ta instead of to? A and O are fairly equidistant from T. Just can't see why you would change a perfectly good word?!

    And no more talking of Illegal stuff
