Royal County Down to feature on Tiger Woods 2013 game

    Any fans out there of the Tiger Woods computer games might be interested to know that Royal County Down is one of the new courses that will feature on Tiger Woods 2013. I know the Tiger Woods games dont change much year on year but I for one will be looking forward to playing the new one now that RCD is on it.

    Do you know is it going to be one of the featured courses on one of the additional ones that you have to pay for?

    Yea its one of the featured courses and not an add-on course.

    Played it on a PC Game called Links. I though RCD was on one of the earlier Woods games?

    Like the games, but links courses just dont work on consoles. I couldnt see it worth shelling out for if you have any of the recent games unless there is a nice addition of parkland courses.

    Im fairness to the devs of TW13 there has been a lot of work put into a new swing mechanic and i cant wait for the new game to come out. Some cool vids on the website

    It's supposed to be a fun golf game where you can boom it 370 and go round in 49 strokes. It's not really meant to be a simulation. You can turn all that stuff off by the way if you think that's a joke... no spin, no grids, slightly off center hits will go nowhere etc. Hard to break Par when you do though!

    Agree that Links was a great game. I worked on that years ago and knew some of the developers. Folded up a long time ago unfortunately I still play Links 2003 as it's got courses like Bunclody, Druids Glen, Augusta, Mount Juliet etc that you can download and play. I believe our esteemed member, Golfgrafix created a good few courses for Links.
