    Hi all!

I have noticed some businesses advertising on roundabouts around the country...is this legal? Do they get permission from somewhere or do they jsut put them up? Cheers!

You need permission of the council of its going on streets, roads etc or the written permission of the building owner if putting on somthing like a railings or fence.

I lost a banner once to a local council for sticking it a safety railings on a street corner.

you can now be fined up to 2000 under the litter act and then there is the issue of liability (if it was the cause of an accident). best keep away

Yeah was thinking it would be littering alright! Seems strange that they don't get taken down (unless they are given permission) and everyone is going to know it was you or your business that erected it!
