Will be passing through in a couple of weeks, never in Carlow before so where to have lunch?

Doesn't have to be fancy, just good food & service and afterwards hopefully think, yep, I'd go back there

    Thanks in advance

Dinn Ri, Lennons, Brookes, Reddys, Teach Dolmain, Lautrecs, all pretty much in the centre of town, all grand for lunch.

Rattlebag on Barrack Street would be my choice.

Nickel Cafe, in Superquinn Shopping Centre. It's lovely (used to be Cafe Le Monde but has improved SIGNIFICANTLY!)

    Also Lennons, Dinn Ri....

What's Toughers like on the Dublin Road? I work near there and I always end up microwaving Tesco meals, wouldn't mind some real food now and again.

Toughers is excellent or at least it was the last time I was there.

Real traditional food, if you know what I mean.

Well, passed through last Friday and had lunch in Teach Dolmain, very nice it was too, thought it was very quiet for a Friday at 1pm though.
    Thanks for the replies :)
