    Howya Degsy.

By no means an expert, but when you say broken is it the handle, lid, or cracked altogether?
Thinking if its the handle, there is Aradite which is really strong used to use it for repairing golf clubs, joining the head and shaft but its a clear sort of glue, maybe not suitable depending on the type of repair your intending. Easy enough to find, local hardware should have it.

Just looking around and found this JB Weld stuff which sound good and could probably be mixed or even buffed to get near enough the sheen or finish you would be looking for.
I wouldn't know where to find it in Dublin but sure have a look at their site and you might have a better idea then. http://jbweld.net/index.php

    Best of luck.
