Hi gyus,

The gearbox in the above mentioned car is whining like a bitch with a few months now.. Worst thing is I got the same gearbox reconditioned by Naas gearbox center just over 2 years ago. I do about 15k miles a year and don't dog the car at all..

I call the gearbox center and they weren't giving me any explanation as to why the gearbox only lasted 30k and it's back the same way again... they say the put genuine full set of bearings in.. It whines through every gear and clutching doesn't change the noise. To me this can't be right..

So, anyway do i take my beating and get it reconditioned again.. 680 plus price mechanic will charge for taking it out and in.. I think Naas will take it out for an extra 200 quid.. or do i get a different box from them for 1000 fitted?
