harrasement in mahon

    please you've got to help me iv'e been continually harrassed in mahon random people keep comming up to me and taunting me i dont know what to do ive tried going to the garda but they cant do anything i dont know what i did to deserve this

    You didn't give much detail, but my advice is just ignore them, walk fast, don't slouch, don't show fear. Most bullies like to target insecure and weak individuals.

    If you have a witness to the harassement im sure it would help the garda with their end of things. Another thing you should be doing is taking a note of the times and dates of the incidents and who was involved etc, then if anything does happen you will be able to show it to the garda as proof of ongoing harassment. It also may help to get them to take notice and have even a quiet word with the people who are giving you a hard time.....

    Is this Mahon in Cork? I agree with the last poster. You need to start keeping a diary of events.

    When you go to the Gards, get the name of the gard you spoke to. Keep a note of the time/date when you do this.
