Ken Burely on Welsh radio

    :D Anyone hear that on Newstalk just now? Ken Early (pretending to be a rugby expert) from Newstalk on Welsh radio (BBC I think) taking the pee out of them. And they believed it. God the Welsh are so arrogant about their rugby but did not seem to get the joke.

    Considering he did it more than once during the world cup I think you'll find you're quite wrong.

    Oh dear... this again... it wasn't funny the first time and it's even less funny now that it's tired old attempt at a joke being repeated

    The guys on Welsh radio were in on it first time around, I'm sure they are in on the "gag" this time too...

    That's embarrassing.

    its completely staged; The Welsh radio show contacted Newstalk last week requesting an "interview" with Ken Burley and off the ball duly granted it but they were practicing all last week for it - not funny anymore; infact Newstalk in general is quite poor lately imho.

    O'Driscoll leading from the stands, McFadden an unknown but slippery as an eel and as for Willie John the dog......I think Ken Burley is brilliant.

    The Welsh lads get genuinely furious with some of his comments.

    John Harston was on it last friday night and he really was getting annoyed with "Ken Burley". The Willie John dog bit was class.

    I was looking forward to Ken Burley laying it on thick & heavy with the Welsh boyo's in the aftermath of an Irish victory.

    I'll podcast it later in the week - right now, I just don't have the heart to listen.

    Is this Ken guy related to Kay Burley off sky news?

    When did Ken Early get the sack?

    I remember listening to the one durign the world cup and being underwhelmed.

    The Ken Burley skit was funny the first time but that one on Monday seemed more staged and the Welsh lads haulted Ken's momentum everytime he was about to break into full flowing rant.
