The only way would be to sign up for one month on meteor pre pay BlackBerry Internet Services (BIS) to get the service books and then unsubscribe at the end of the month. During the month download the opera browser:
http://mini.opera.com
and it should work afterwards on basic 3G or EDGE. Wifi should also work. ALthough to be honets having a BlackBerry without BIS is a little redundant.
