Repartitioning HD

    Hello all,

I recently tried to install MS 7 on my MBP as I need to use a Windows only program for a course I'm attending.

To cut a long story short, I need to repartion my HD, as the first install failed. I have deleted all partitions, but now I am left with a HD that only has 29GB free, when in fact, it actually has 96Gb free. I realise that I need to drag the little 'Volume' toggle down to the end of the gauge in Disk Utility. But when I click 'apply' will it reformat my HD and lose all my data? Cheers

Yes, be sure to clone it to an external drive first.

    Thanks !

I was one 'Apply' click away from ruining my day. I appreciate it.
