Hi I am working on a case study at the moment and have to identify a tax planning strategy for a client who is considering selling his company! My lecturer mentioned a paper for paper payment method (being offered shares instead of cash) as a way of avoiding a major CGT liability but Im not too sure whats involved. Anyone have any points I could include in my report? Any info would be appreciated, thanks :)
