Where should I sell this?

I got a present from my old job of a fairly expensive pen. I think I would probably never use it, or if I did I'd lose it, so want to sell it instead. I'm wondering where is the best place to sell it?? It sells for £300 / $500 - I'd be happy to get 2/3 of this price really. Thing is there is probably a very limited market for these type things.

Should I just chuck it on ebay.com or .co.uk? Am I best off starting with a very low bid price, or maybe starting near the asking price and hoping it will get towards it?

    Any advice appreciated
    Thanks

I'm not sure if they take stuff in to resell, but there's a pen shop in Dun Laoghaire shopping centre that might help.

As for the price if you were to sell it on eBay, you could start with a low price but put a reserve on it. That way you wouldn't lose out if the bids weren't as high as expected.

I'm not sure if eBay is the best place to sell a pen though - seems a bit specialist to me, although I could well be wrong.

If you didnt pay anything for it then anything you get is a bonus, however there are many specialist collectors on ebay, more so than anywhere else, so for maximum exposure to the right buyers, id say ebay is the place..
Anyone who bids on this will know what it is and what its worth and I expect it will make a nice amount. Alternative is to put it on Adverts, where you wont get charged for selling, but you may end up not making much on it.
