So the indicators/ hazards on my friends Primastar have stopped working and I can't find a fuse - google says there may not be one. The other day I had the centre console dismantled and the hazard light switch unplugged to replace the little capless bulbs that illuminate the heater controls so I'm wondering would that have caused the fault?

Seems like a bit of a coincidence alright.

How did you dismantle the centre console? I am looking to do that to replace bulbs as well, but don't know where to start.

No coincidence - I had the engine running. And back on topic, how do I fix it?

Firstly you need to take off the centre panel that the gear stick comes through...

    Two bolts either side...

Then the panel with the heater controls...

The bulb holder on the right comes out handy enough but the one on the left is right behind the hot/ cold knob and you might need a long nose pliers to get it out...

The bulbs are very small capless ones...

Well problem solved. A friend suggested that it might have something to do with the BCM and that disconnecting the battery for a while may allow it to reset itself. This worked for me in the past with something else and it seems to have solved the problem this time too - touch wood!
