    Hey boardsies,
can anyone tell me what is the story with the summer exam timetable for first year law?
do they tend to follow a yearly pattern?
my real question is, is there a gap of say, a week in between each one, or could you possibly have to sit three or four in a week?

i recall reading a post from a student (in a different discipline) saying how he/she had 5 exams in one week, which was more of an endurance test than anything!!

    sound.

i'm not sure exactly when the actual exams are but you can never really say for sure what kind of gaps you are expecting between each exam as it depends entirely on the people who are arranging them. it changes every year to accomadate each department. :)

It varies a lot but it can be fairly brutal. I had three exams in 2days last semester though it is still very possible to get great grades.

Thanks for the replies lads, really appreciate it.

In a perfect world, a gap of a week in between each one makes firsts achievable, but I do NOT relish the prospect of 3 exams in two days

hey, i did my first year exams for the BCL last year, but i have to say that i was very lucky, only one exam at Christmas, and 4 exams at summer spread over a month.

To be fair, law is one of the less intense exams schedules in NUI Galway....
