    Thanks.
When buying with asos is it best to choose gbp?
Their currency conversion is very poor.

In my experience fatcheese are a waste of time. I'm still waiting to be credited one year after two separate purchases through them. Can't believe they are still operating

Two sides to every story; I've found fatcheese to be excellent in crediting my account. I've credited over €100 to my paypal thanks to them. Then again I don't expect it to pop into my account immediately; I just see it as a handy way of 'saving'.

Re GBP vs €, choosing GBP means your bank determines the rate afaik so it'd be particular to your banks terms on FX.

Joined www.fatcheese.ie a few months ago. Did lots of Christmas shopping via that website. Have built up a fair bit of credit. But the validation email needed to release the credit wont activate for me. Tried a couple of times. Emailed fatcheese over a week ago and got no response whatsoever. Doesn't inspire any confidence.
I'm wondering what the point is of using www.fatcheese.ie at all?

I have found Fatcheese to be good about 75% of the time. I have earned about €69 in cashback in a little under a year - albeit that I have to wait for about €10 of that to be paid yet. Still, that's €59 that I have actually received in cashback.

Crouchie asked about using £GBP on the site rather than letting the site convert the price to € and paying that price. While I can't speak directly for ASOS, I know that it usually works out better to pay in the Foreign currency first on Amazon because then you are charged the Exchange Rate that your Credit Card / Bank charges. If you let the site do the conversion, the rate is almost always worse than the Bank / CC rate in my experience.

    Hope that helps.

p.s. There is a long thread of referrals here - it can be worth an extra 50c in cashback if you have not purchased using Fatcheese before.
