Quick NCT question

    Just a quick one -

My car has had a relatively recent service but the light was not reset and is currently flashing for a few seconds on every startup.

Could this force it to fail the NCT (which is on Tuesday)?

    2004 Vectra 1.6P FWIW.

    Cheers :)

Do this to remove service reminder.
Simply press the trip reset button on the dash at the same time press the brake pedal then switch on the ignition, keep brake and trip pressed for 10 to 12 seconds and hey presto its done.

    On petrol cars it's not.
On diesels it is, as they'll refuse to do an emissions test.

Think you just hold the trip reset button then switch on the ignition....keep holding it for a few seconds after the car starts. Never needed to do the brake pedal bit on any of the Vectras I owned

if you sign the disclaimer stating the car is in a fit state to be tested they will test away
