    Hi folks.

As it says in the title, how could you find out if court / legal proceedings have started against you? Is there a register of proceedings or a website where this sort of info is published?

Well you should be served with the necessary pleadings. But if the matter is in the high court you can use high court search on www.courts.ie http://highcourtsearch.courts.ie/hcslive/cslogin

If on the other hand it is district or circuit court you can check with your local office of either, if the matter is tort or contract you will also need to check the offices where the tort happened or the contract was agreed.
