    Has anyone any experience of both the recognised brands and the cheaper alternatives?
    I'm looking to buy a pair but not sure if I'm being charged an extra €80-€90 just to have a brand name stamped on them.

    i had some cheap - ish shoes and then bought Diadora Speedracer Carbon R shoes yes they are stiffer but they are cooler
