cant get my sky box to pick up free channels

    sorry if posted in wrong place.

    just wondering can some1 talk me through it i have taken the card out and unplugged the box but still the irish stations come up instead of the english ones

    its a sky plus box

    Don't put the card back in! You are leaving it out?

    Alternatively
    Try going to Sky News with card in.
    press interactive
    wait for it to load
    take out card
    exit back to TV and don't put card in.

    Some Skyboxes don't revert to UK EPG. Most of the missing free channels can be added manually in Other Channels.

    ok thanks ill give that a go.

    just cant get channel 4 and the e4s thats why i want it to go back to english mode

    If you still can't get it to go back like watty says those channels can be added in Other Channels with no encryption.
