    Hi,

    Thanks for posting that.

    Couple of questions....

Is there much difference between the two?

Price? Power? Battery Life? Ease of use?

I suppose more or less which one would you choose if you could only have one and why?

Been thimking about buying but theres that many its slightly confusing!

    Cheers

not much difference in price,I will know Wednesday how many hrs you get out of it, both are good but I would go for the x7r because of the extra light, both are simple to use, they have a strobe lamp setting which is handy

Great comparison! we need more reviews of products on this forum. Thanks the the likes or yourself and Moby30 it makes potential buyers more at ease when handing over hard earned cash.

Spouse you have not had long enough to try put battery duration during use and also how long to recharge both models?

Also forgive me if Im mistaken but can you change the focus of the beam in either of the lamps? cant decide if Im hallucinating or not when watching the video. :D

Also whats the weight like on top of the scope? tip over? top heavy or unnoticeable?

And in your view whats the max range? could you easily identify foxes over 200yards away and then call them in to a .17hmr range?

Spouse you have not had long enough to try put battery duration during use and also how long to recharge both models? You can charge them fully in an hour , they come with a handy magnetic charger that sits on the handle.I will know how long they last on wednesday. The manufacturer recons 7 hrs

Also forgive me if Im mistaken but can you change the focus of the beam in either of the lamps? cant decide if Im hallucinating or not when watching the video. :DYeah you can change the focus on both, plus they have different settings on them for , strobe, sos and low beam.In the video the beam on the right is from the x7r and on the left it is m7r so you can see as well as being twice as bright it also lights up a bigger area.

Also whats the weight like on top of the scope? tip over? top heavy or unnoticeable? You wouldnt even notice them on the scope they are aluminiun so they are lightweight

And in your view whats the max range? could you easily identify foxes over 200yards away and then call them in to a .17hmr range?
I will know for sure under the scope how far i can see wednesday, but you cant see it in the video but i could see reflective stickers on the goalposts 5 football pitches away, the dogs in that video were about 120 yards away.

I bought the X7R from Moby30 and found it very good.
The first real text was about two weeks ago on night and got four foxes.
And I said in another tread its a pity you can't get filters for the X7R's as the light is a very white bright light but other than that very good light.

Might try a bit of blue peter job with the p7 filter glass and a rubber mould
