Is there not a button on the top of the gear selector with an 'S' on it too? The light on the dash normally comes on when you press this.

Its either sport or snow mode, I can't remember which.

Thanks to you both For the replies.

There is a button on the tip of the gear selector but is blank so possibly.

There is another button along side the window button for snow.

Now that I think of it when I started the car first it wasent there and came on possibly as I was selecting a different gear I would've had my palm in the top.

Will test this when I have the car again and come back with the results.

    Thanks all !

I recon its the 'sport' button so, the S is probably worn off the selector.

just tested it out there and that seems to be it alright.

    cheers for that !

now.... the remote refuses to lock and open the car even the button shows a good solid red light.

was working earlier. would it be the key ?

    thanks again.

If its just lost its programming then put the key in the ignition, turn to the on position(don't start) and then press the lock/unlock buttons. The central locking should activate.
