    Hi All,

Is there a place in Dublin where I could sell my owned DVDs (Movies), and ideally Games as well?

There are plenty such places, even online in UK, but can't see anything similar in Ireland :(

    Thanks in advance

There are literally dozens of GameStops littered around Dublin. They buy DVDs/games of people.

Best bet is to try and sell them on ebay or adverts. Bring them into game-stop and they're likely to offer you 20 cent per DVD. I saw them offer someone 96c for the complete Star Trek box set not so long ago.

Seriously? Well i suppose they do need to make money, and do take risk no one will buy them...

Was thinking about adverts, but I think I would need to create individual advert for each game/DVD... and then go, meet with people for each.. it's just not worth the effort, if they sell for €5 lets say...

Try and sell it as a lot, maybe post up a list and people here may be interested. A friend of mine sold over 20 years worth of CD collecting a few weeks back to gamestop, a few thousand CDs and came out with 112 euro.

Throw the lot up on adverts one ad, name each one. People will pick and choose from the lot in the comments and you will make more money that way. That is of course if you want the bother. If not go to gamestop, you will get a pittance for them and they pick and choose what they want.

There is CEX of liffey street. Trade in prices are meant to be 'good' I hear. You can trade in games and dvds.

But some advice. Don't trade in games. You always get ripped off. I traded in around 40 ps2 & xbox games with GAME years ago. Got a euro for about 35 of those games  others were 2 euro  ... Of course their retail price for pre-owned games ranged from €4.99 to €29.99 at the time

Put your dvds and games up on adverts.ie - don't make the same mistake I did man.
