Unpacking a bz2 file with winzip?

    I need to unpack an bz2 file on the computers in college. When i try to extract the bt2 file it just transfers the the bt2 file. Any adive on this problem would be much appreciated.

    WinRAR will do bz2 files. Its ages since I had Winzip installed so can't help you with that.

    Install 7Zip on your college user drive or a USB Key. Winzip is rubbish for any other format bar .zip, I don't think it will open rar even!
    With 7zip on your USB key or network drive you can just open the file with it, and extract it where you want
