Hi new to this, but have been a avid reader. I am interested in a 22-250 if there is one out there for sale or swap / part exchange on a Brno 22LR

Had to go back an modifiy this...

I am new to the web site not shooting, have been shooting since I was ten and licensed for 27 years, shot a lot of bunnies over the years and have recently increased my shot gun usage. Scuba Diving and Fishing do not hold their previous attractions any more, where I have never lost my love for guns. Uncles of mine used the 22-250 for years when thier big stuff was ‘put in storage for them’. I have shot the 22-250 and have some affection for it, plus I am a sucker for traditional wooden stocks. I would like to use its long range accuracy for day light fox hunting. So that’s my story, so again anyone who has one and wants to part with it give me a shout.

Do want to be a time waster and I am appreciative with the prompt replies, but fickle me has been talking to a couple of experienced deer hunters (more like bombarding them with questions) and have been shown the error of my ways. More importantly I had a word with my FO and was very pleasantly surprised when I got the go ahead to get a .243. This will now give me a broader choice of potential quarry.
So now a new question …. I have an old Banner Bushnell (23 years) 3-9x40 with red dot option in the cross hairs that has served me very well in years of .22 field use and has never lost its accuracy per say… will this do on a .243 for 100m plus ranges?

Friends uncle has one on his 22-250 and its probably older and it always done the job for him. Dont think it ever lost its zero

It will be fine at that distance for foxes. if you want to go 200+ you might want to consider more mag.
