Hi just looking for a bit of advice,is €360-€380 reasonable for a new timing belt on a 2001 colt? I can get a complete kit for €94.Does it take a lot of labour to install it?
    Thanks
Above are 2 quotes I got from a garages.

    Hi there

Looking at possible timing chain tensioner problems for my g/f's 2003 Opel Corsa C z10xe 3DR (F08 engine code I believe), any idea of what should be a competitive quote?

    Cheers

it would probably be in the 500 direction because there's a lot more ripping to be done to get at those Opel chain than a belt. chain is basically inside the engine whereas a belt is outside of it. There's gaskets and stuff to be replaced when doing those chains.
