Just tried out the SBP app and paid for today's issue.

I can't help but feel I would be better off reading the website. Navigation is a bit odd, there is no pinch to zoom and there appears to be very little that takes advantage of the iPad features.

I can't help but feel it is a HTML5 type app not designed for the iPad, but designed for all tablet devices. Interesting if this is the way the market is going.

    Anyone else try it?

i like the app but hate thenew website. no ability to open stories in new tabs and it also doesn't play well with my playbook or blackberry browser although i doubt they care that much. i'm a paid annual subscriber too

downloaded it a few times. It's OK nothing brilliant. I had a problem with one download, I emailed customer support and still have not had a reply, that was about 3 weeks ago. They need to improve their support function if they hope to retain customers. It put me off using it again.

nope they got it totally wrong. web wrapper app that i can crash quite easily can't remember now how i could crash it cause i haven't used the app since.

it's a pity as they have a great paper (only paper i still buy).

That's interesting because a while back I e-mailed them with a problem and got a response straight away.

Agreed 100%. Especially since I live abroad, I buy the Irish Times using their Press Reader app and have had to resort to buying copies of the Sindo on a Sunday. If only The Sunday Business Post made the paper available on Press Reader, I would take out a yearly subscription without hesitation.
