New shape ford mondeo, wow it is some size, I'm 6'2 and there is oceans of room front and back, I want one.

I've seen it advertised with a 1.6 engine, I'd say this is too small for this car?
Most of them are 1.8tdci 100 bhp, any input people.

There are many cars with lots of space. I wouldnt say the mondeo is extra big. Have you by any chance being driving Toyota's as the lowest driver seat setting in any Toyota I've ever sat in would correspond to a high setting in any other car.

The 1.6 TDCi has 115bhp with a 6 speed box and is alot more lively than the old 1.8 TDCi lump which dates back to the 1980s.

100bhp for a car that size can't make sense - ok for a fiesta or focus
115bhp fine for motorways - however overtaking potential would be limited particularly with a car full of people.

go for the 2.0, 140bhp option worth the extra money
