ferguson ariva hd combo trouble

i bought a ferguson ariva hd combo box well into last year , brought it home , plugged it in, connected the dish and it worked perfectly from then until now , the sisters young kids were here and were messing about with the remote and now i can get nothing.
i did a factory reset and managed to tune in the irish stations, but if i try to tune in any of the satellite channels all i can get is channel 4 about 8 times , more 4 , film 4 but thats it.
what can i do or what should i do ? i thought the factory reset would have brought it back to the same condition as out of the box.

Does anyone have a file of the channels on the astra satellite that i can download onto a usb stick and load into the receiver that way ? Is there somewhere i can get them online ? Thanks

Hey all,

Saw the title of this thread so thought this would be the best place to ask this, I've had the Arive 120 combo box a good few months now and no trouble until I got home from work about half an hour ago. Just turned it on and every channel has a big black square in the centre of the screen. Sound is perfect, just a translucent black square in the centre of every channel! Any ideas anyone?

Ok, never mind, even though I had already attempted the tried and tested "turn it off and then back on again" method, the second time I tried it the black square disappeared!
