    Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I'll try it anyway.

I want to transfer several large data files via e-mail but yahoo and gmail only have a 25mb limit , which is ****. I've tried compressing the files to no avail.

Does anyone on here happen to know of a site that will transfer large files that I can trust??

Or even how I can sneak it past their limit?

Dropbox them, watch the video on their site. Basically you and the recipient set up Dropbox on your pc's, then add the files to a folder in Dropbox and share the folder to their email. Use this referrral link and we'll both get extra free space

It's also a great way of backing up stuff online and a handy way of sharing stuff with family members and friends, documents, pictures, music (cough)!!

Thanks PogMoThoin, About 5 seconds after I posted that I realised that I had a dropbox account I'd forgotten about.

I've only now realised you posted this in the Open Source forum.

    Here's some OS alternatives
