Is it FTA (its a bit dark now to move dish but thanks anyway).

Would this normally happen, ie. GAA feeds on foreign sat ?

Will have to watch highlights for me :(.

Gaa feeds regularly if not allways on satellite as feeds back to hq, normally 0.8w or 10e. Its FTA but a 4.2.2 feed so azbox or similar required.

    Check here for frequencies

    Very intresting, thanks.
I have an Ariva HD Combo so I must find out about the 4.2.2 feed.

Dont think Ariva does 4.2.2 feeds,

You need an azbox or a qualitv receiver for 4.2.2 transmissions.

Good signal 60% on my AzBox in Dundalk 1.1 m dish.

Getting about 50% strength & 70% quality here in Kerry with a 88cm triax but no breakup or pixelation, Ger Canning commentary a little annoting though :)

The second audio track is just the crowd noise if you'd prefer:)

But of course being a feed there is no time/score caption on the screen so you need the commentary.

Three feeds on 1 West, bit late reporting them

    Fréquence: 11494 - Pol: V - SR: 4800 - FEC: -

    Catégorie: Sport - Autres

    Transmis en: MPEG-2 4:2:0 (PAL)

    Infos: GAA(Gaelic football)/Hurling (s2)

That is Armagh Cork for TG4

11500 same paramaters Derry Galway in Irish for later broadcast on TG4

11506 same parameters except in 4:2:2 Derry Galway in English for RTE for tonights League programme.

    All strong with me.

I'm using a t90 to try and get this feed

    Intelsat 10-02 / Thor 5 - 6 (0.8°W)

    Fréquence: 11530 - Pol: V - SR: 4800 - FEC: -

    Catégorie: Sport - Autres

    Transmis en: MPEG-2 4:2:0 (PAL)

    Infos: GAA(Gaelic football)/Hurling (s2)

But can't get any signal, can get quality of up to 90% on some other tps on this satellite. Is the t90 dish (approx 1m) too small to pick up the feed?

Channel name Clones RTE. Strong enough for me 8.8dB on my F15, didn't switch over to AzBox but would be about 50% on that. It's in 4:2:2 though not 4:2:0. Never have any trouble getting these feeds on 1 West on my 1.1m dish. I see two more feeds on today, usual Sunday afternoon activity.

Three feeds on 1 West for the club semi finals. Bit stronger than normal with me today. See Satelliweb at 15:21.

The two feeds from Ballybofey are in 4:2:0 today so you don't need an AzBox to see them. Strong signals with me.

    Fréquence: 11473 - Pol: V - SR: 4800 - FEC: -

    Transmis en: MPEG-2 4:2:0 (PAL)

    Also feed from Newry

    Fréquence: 11467 - Pol: V - SR: 4800 - FEC: -
