I have a problem with my iphone that seems pretty nonspecific. It switches itself off whenever the network is trying to do two things with the network at the same time. For example sending a text while also receiving one.
Its pretty odd problem as i cant find anyone who has the same problem anywhere online.
It would take some proper diagnostic work to locate the problem.
Does anyone know anywhere/anyone in drogheda area who would have the ability to work on it?

I don't know myself of anyone but with your problem, it seems you might not be on your own.
This might be similar related: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1244183

Have you tried testing the phone (doing dual tasks) while connected though other networks elsewhere?

A small chance of a solution might lie in this thread: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=524782

I hope you find someone that can sort it for you.

Cheers for the help, Biggins. :)
But my problem extends even further than those.

Like my phone started switching off at about 40% a while back and would struggle to turn back on. Like i would get the apple logo for about 2-3 minutes and sometimes the lock screen would pop up and then switch off again. Then it began not switching on at all unless it was plugged in.

Then as time went on it started doing it at around 50% but would generally switch back on until it got down to 40%.
Now it can just be problematic and switch off at even 90% and if i attempt to switch it on say three times before i give in and plug it into a charger/dock it will have dropped down to 80-odd percent.

So yeah, it would need someone who would do a thorough check of all avenues. Not just stick a 3rd party battery in it, charge me 100 quid and fall apart a few weeks later. :pac:
