I a bit perplexed with my problem

I have Saorview distributed to my two TVs via aerial on roof and splitter in attic, one cable to Philips tv in sitting room (not official Saorview approved but) and one to Saorview approved Waiker tv in bedroom. Everything worked perfectly till today when went to watch rugby in sitting room on RTEHD,

There was no signal for Saorview channels, checked tv in bedroom and that is working fine.

Re-installed channels again on tv in sitting room, but what i cant understand is that it installs analog channels but not digital channels. so i can get analog channels only on one tv while on the other i can get both analog and digital channels from the same source.

any ideas, i live near Mt Leinster

So you're actually receiving from Mt. Leinster & it's the recommended transmitter for your location?

Do you have the correct aerial?

There are many possible causes of small signal drops that can cause loss of an already borderline digital signal.

Have you tried the Walker tv on the Philips' aerial feed?

I had a similar situation with my Sony TV. I am on Cairn Hill. Mux A channel 47 Mux B channel 44. For some reason the Sony decided to replace the Mux A-stored channels with Mux B, with the result that when I went to view RTE1, say, I was getting no signal, presumably because Mux B was then off air. The cure was to re-scan channel 47 only.
