Do you reckon you'd bother to have clicked on this thread if I gave it some generic "vocalist required" or "guitarist available" type of title?`

I'm a song writing guitarist looking, first and foremost, for a lyric writing singer. I say I'm a song writer but I can't write lyrics to save my life so, obviously, I'm looking for someone who can. Assuming I find that person, once we tie a good few songs down then we can look at gigging as an acoustic duo or getting other musicians on board and trying out bass and drums and possibly another guitar and/or keyboard. There's plenty of ways to go anyway. (I'll listen to offers from existing bands as well if there are any. I'm due to jam with one through boards soon enough anyway)
    Here's a few samples,

    http://soundcloud.com/eamonn_young/one-day-2nd-draft

    http://soundcloud.com/eamonn_young/fade-back-ver2 (that's not me singing, obviously :D)

    http://soundcloud.com/eamonn_young/udinese-ver-2

I'm going to say now so as to avoid wasting time with people, I'm not looking for anyone with a casual attitude toward this. I have, in my opinion, some great fooking tunes written and I want to get them heard by as many people as possible so I'm going to be working to that end. However, I do have a 9-5 so it's not like I'd be looking to practice every day. Ideally we'd be working once a week.

I'm 28 and live in Leixlip. I don't drive either so bare that in mind before contacting me. Also, if you do pm me and then change your mind about working with me after I respond, have the God damned common courtesy to tell me. Cheers.

    Pm me if interested.

If I was looking for a guitarist or if I were a vocalist looking for some work then yes.

Gave Udinese as a listen. Nice track. Best of luck in your search.

A better question to ask might be how many people would lose interest if they have to read all the way to the bottom of the post to establish where you're based :).

I agree that if I had known this thread was yet another guitarist I wouldn't have opened it. I like the d minor seventh. It makes it sound sad but jazz sad.

Ha! Cheers boss. I've minimal theory training so I don't actually know which one that is. I'm guessing by the "jazz sad" description it's the 2nd one?
