I'm sure tommy and tadhg (who chaired the meeting) are working on the minutes. There is quite a bit of audio to go through, and they both have full time jobs.
Once they are done, they will post the minutes on the IAA website.

Any business that needed to be done , was done , there are a few snippets on the IAA website , but what most caught my attention was for so much talk and opinions being thrown around by so many , very few bothered to turn up at the meeting. Those that did turn up had a good discussion on topics at hand.

Couldn't agree more.Good meeting badly attended, but hopefully we'll have a committee for the coming year.
    Retailer affiliates present:MIA,Airsofteire,SGAirsoft,Hobbyairsoft,Strikearms,Enniscorthy Airsoft
Good positive discussion between those above and all are ready willing and able to lend a hand to the future committee in whatever capacity the members decide

Lads , before anyone belittles past committes , ask yourself what you have done for airsoft. Did ye join the IAA , did ye bother attending the AGM , did ye put yourself forward for committee ?
Don't blame others if you have done nothing yourself.

While past IAA comitties have done a lot. This is poor reasoning. I don't need to write music to say Justin Beiber is crap.

Agreed, but what have you done to help the IAA?

    Not a damn thing. You?

    Secretary2008/2009 committee

I can assure you it's a thoroughly thankless job and what's even worse is people even blame the IAA for half the ******* problems in airsoft, and never actually take the time or effort to get the **** up off their ass and do anything about it.

It's so easy to sit back behind a keyboard and say what's wrong - it's another thing to do something about it or stfu.

The meeting attendance from the general membership was poor. But it was good to see the affiliates present at the meeting and their input was greatly appreciated.

Most of the issues covered in the AGM were covered here or on the IAA forums. Minutes will be posted up as soon as they are available, but as BioHaZrd said, we have full time jobs and other commitments that may interfere with the publication.
hopefully the NEW iaa will now do something positive for the sport!

Thanks for your input. If you want to PM me your name and I can forward it onto the new committee as a volunteer.

That actually didn't surprise me in the slightest tbh. There are plenty of people that shout about how they would do things better, but as soon as the time comes, they bolt.

2012 brings a new committee and from speaking with the lads that are going forward, they have some really good ideas for the future. Let's get behind them.

A month of debate and huff and puff on here 12 people turned up for the save our association agm.
Now calling out the whole oh what have the committee's done for me or the community its isn't fun its retarded to say the least
People on here have given there time thanklessly for most just to be put down by people who should know better ,every committee since day one has made some serious mistakes all unquestioned by the community ,
When suggestions were told sorry "chater" says no ,committee says no, the people who pull the strings say no .
View of the future friends sites ,shops affiated job done resignations at ready .

If you want change stand up ,speak up and don't take no for an answer .

Time the community took a stand

First point, yes there were some things said, but I will not try to jump ahead of the publication of the minutes by saying what - you will just have to wait, along with everyone else

If you were as interested as you make yourself out to be, you would already know the answer to the second one - it was well publicised before the meeting that there would be no elections at the agm

you will have a better chance of keeping abreast of things by going to the IAA website, rather than here

This week was a bad week for me personally. I was hoping to have the minutes done and posted.

Once I get a chance to go through the audio, I would hope to have the minutes up by the end of next week. As the lads said, I am trying to get this done around a full-time job and training.

I would also hope that the people who are so so curious about what went on and what was said, would put themselves forward to assist the new committee. It is the only way forward folks.
