Using Cubase 6 on multiple computers?

    Hi lads
    can't seem to find unequivocal answer online...

    I have Cubase 6 and am wondering can I install it on 2 machines (laptop and PC)?

    Would it be just a question of installing the software on both machines and then transferring the dongle when necessary? (Please say yes)

    Yes.

    I am using Cb6 on both my main computer and laptop.

    on the off-chance you might be able to help me Shay (or anyone else)...

    I'm upgrading my license at the moment. Or at least I'm trying to. I'm upgrading to Cubase 6 from LE5.

    I'm in the eLicenser Control Centre trying to do this.

    - I select the 'Enter Activation Code', type in the code and all seems fine
    - I hit 'Continue' and on the next screen both eLicensers (dongle and soft license) are showing in the eLicensers list
    - however if I select either of them, they aren't working and it doesn't give me the option to select the 'Upgrade License' button.

    any ideas gratefully appreciated...

    I also had problems with the upgrade. Actually at one stage BOTH old version of Cubase and the new one didn't work, and that was just before a session!

    I called Steinberg, gave out and they sorted it on their side in a few minutes.

    nightmare...

    I'm not under the same pressure but frustrating nonetheless.

    back again.

    one other question.

    I have LE5 on the soft eLicenser.

    Do I have to transfer this license for LE5 to the dongle eLicenser and then upgrade?

    I didn't think so but maybe this is where I'm going wrong?

    Missed the window for phone support today unfortunately as due to mortal sins commited in some previous existence, I work 9-5 at present. Hope to get them on the phone over next day or so.
