Where to put sat amplifier in stacked/destacked system

    Hi,

My two feeds to my Sky+ box are coming from down 1 cable via a 30m stacker/destacker, however Im getting breakup on some channels, voice distortion and some channels just dont work. The alignment on my dish is fine as another feed from the disk works fine on all channels.

The single cable run may be running over the 30m so I got a inline sat amplifier but unsure as to where I should place in in my system.
    Should I put

    1) 2 in area 1 below
    2) 1 in area 2 below
    3) 2 in area 3 below

    Thanks

A bigger dish is likely a better solution. Or add another cable.

The standard IF amps don't amplify the band the stacker uses for 2nd feed.

An inline amp needs to have a set of switches for distance to set equalisation else it's likely to overload stuff at the lower frequencies.

A stacker is likely to be overloaded by an amp in front.

Stacker/Destackers are poor solution only suitable for short runs. can you replace part of the run even with 2nd coax and make distance 2 smaller, say 10m?

Dont really want to have a run outside, I maybe could shorten the run in the attic with a bit of messy around. Thanks for advice.
